What if you fall in love with your new home and forget about me? What if you can't remember what the best state around is? What if I'm left in love but left alone and you forget about me? What if we lose touch before we're even there? I've spent every night of this week by myself. I guess I'm used to living without you. I'd spend every night of my life by myself if it meant you did what you want to. What if you fall in love with your new home and forget about me? What if we can't remember we're the best? What if I'm left in love but left alone and you forget about me? What if we lose touch before we're even there? I've spent every night of this month by myself. I guess I'm used to being without you. I'd spend every night of my life by myself if it meant you did what you want to.

Bedbugs

I've said the past is in the past. What does that really mean at all? We're lying with bedbugs again. We'd rather dance around ourselves. We'd rather spend the night alone. We're lying with bedbugs again. We're lying to ourselves again. I've said the past is in the past. What does that really mean at all?

James Brown

Hey man, check out these bags under my eyes. Don't you think they're coming along nicely? I've been doing my best to keep them open. You've made it hard to stand at all. I can make an excuse for another night spent smoking and eating junk food, but at the end of the day - at the end of it all - I'd rival James Brown with this funk I've found myself in. I've been staying up late and taking up naps. I've been training for the all you can sleep contest. I'm doing alright, but you were probably more right when you said I should line up a job.

How Things Go
02:27

Washing dishes at the back of the place, a downtrodden, sunken look upon my face. When I was ten, I didn't think - when I was 12, I didn't think I'd end up here washing dishes at the back of the place. But I guess that's how things go when you wish to see your lover, and you can't believe you're broke after throwing all your money at an old exhausted joke. But I guess that's how things go when you'd rather stay on life support than go live out your life. After saying - out loud - your plan to abort to an empty room, to yourself, nothing's gonna change. Nothing's gonna as long as you live.

Rotting
01:43

I've worked hard to make it this far without your help. But maybe it's time I start looking at myself. You give it all away. You give it everything. You give it all away until you're all alone looking at your phone just to make it through the day. You say I'm better than you but we both know the truth. It's taken me this long to pull this rotting tooth.

Losers
03:10

I'm drawing parallels between you and my jeans: both faded, ripped up, and tearing at the seams. And I swear I'd buy new ones if I had the means to, but you know I've been so broken for the past year or few. Keep me coming back. I'll swear I've had enough this time, but I'm playing to lose. Let's keep those losers underlined. What's the point of knowing what happens if there's no lesson learned? I'm searching for some deeper meaning that I haven't earned.
